Welcome to my Primeval Thule D&D Campaign Blog   

Set on earth before the last Ice Age ,Primeval Thule is a land of deep jungles and golden seas, mysterious and unexplored.  It is an age when humankind is a young race, newly arisen on an ancient and monster-haunted Earth. Mighty cities and sprawling empires rise and fall, weaving a tale of great deeds and epic tragedies that will be lost and forgotten by the peoples who came later. Even the land itself is fated to fall beneath the numbing cloak of endless winter, burying the triumphs and defeats of this vanished age beneath miles of ice. But for this glittering moment in the slow dream of time, Thule lives!

My intention is offer a setting intertwined with Simon's Primeval Thule campaign, allowing characters to interact with and effect the setting and each other.  

In an attempt to bring the illusion of order to this rambling chaos the blog has sections or labels on the blog :  
                                                                  Players  -  where your beloved adventurers can be found
                                                                  Adventures  - the accounts of your heroic deeds
                                                                  Resources - NPC backstory, rumours, npcs, maps etc.. 
                                                                  Locations - Three Towers, Oakhurst, Ikath etc

6. Tomb of the Golden Pharaoh


The Hidden Shrine of Tamoachan Published 1980. Written by Jeff R. Leason & Harold Johnson is set in the World of Greyhawk.  It was dropped it the marsh north of the ruins of Hurth Nessk. The Tomb of the Golden Pharaoh is full of tricks and traps, cursed items, firebombs, cave-ins but the party didn't find the Golden Pharaoh's Gold!    


 5.The Sea Devils

The Final Enemy by Dave J. Brown and Don Turnbull was published in 1983 by TSR UK. The players to carried out reconnaissance on a dangerous sahuagin lair on behalf of the authorities in Three Towers.  Upon discovering the Sahuagin were a cult following a crazy Kraken called Ozric', they couldn't wait to leave.     

4. The Sunless Citadel

By Bruce R. Cordell, was originally published in 2000 as a beginning adventure for the third edition of the D&D game.  The ruined Citadel lies on the on the edge of the dangerous Earthreach Caverns and is a days walk from the village of Oakhurst.  

3. Raiders!

Produced by the UK branch of TSR in 1981, Sinister Secret of Saltmarsh was designed by Dave J. Brown and Don Turnbull. I used the Haunted House and Cellars from the module for the pirates secret base when they raided Three Towers.Review of Dungeons and Dragons Ghosts of Saltmarsh - Wizard's ...

2. The Monastery of Deth

"Isle of the Abbey" was designer Randy Maxwell's contribution to 1992's Dungeon 34. The investigation of a pirate attack on the Veilshard Monastery revealed layer after layer of secrets.  

1. Ghost Ship

Drawn from Dungeon 123, Mike Mearls's 2005 adventure "Salvage Operation".  Locate and retrieve the strongbox from a ship that has been missing for fifteen years.
